Design
- Loop-through arrangement: two line panels for looping into an MV cable line and a transformer panel with HH fuses.
- LV semi-indirect metering in the LV switchboard for lower ratings, subject to DSO approval; MV metering panel for higher ratings.
- Compact enclosure 2.90 x 2.10 m up to 630 kVA; with two line panels and a metering panel, a widened 2.96 m enclosure; for large construction sites 1000 kVA in an enclosure with an operating corridor.
- LV switchboard with NH outgoing feeders for site distribution boards and spare panels for subsequent construction phases; future rating option when the substation is to remain as the permanent substation.
Advantages
- Compact monoblock with base: quick placement on a bedding layer, no foundation with basement.
- Your own substation instead of renting: relocatable after construction or kept as the permanent substation.
- Repeatable configurations with a single code and a complete set of documents for each application.
- LV metering for low ratings is simpler to build and to bill.
Limitations
- Lead time of 18 weeks: a construction site substation must be ordered in advance.
- Each relocation requires a crane, disconnection by qualified electricians and a new DSO approval.
- LV metering usually only for 160 to 400 kVA transformers, depending on the DSO.

Standard in substations up to 630 kVA: horizontal, lugless, set of 3 x /U and 1 x /N; M12, M20 or M30 selected to suit the rating.
